Owned by the Chen family, BAVI was incorporated in 1997 with initial operations in Cebu and Davao. In 2002 the company launched into full operation as poultry integrator covering provincial Luzon, and the whole Visayas and Mindanao. It engaged the best qualified professionals in the industry, and embarked on a program to modernize operational capability.

 

At present the company has a nationwide business network of nineteen branches and two sales offices across the country, fully supported by breeder farms, hatcheries, broiler growing farms, feed mills, dressing plant and distributorships.

 

In 2008 BAVI launched into the oven roasted chicken business under the Chooks-To-Go trade name, completing the entire integration cycle of the poultry operations, from the farm to the dinner table. BAVI is now the countrys number one rotisserie chicken chain with more than 800 rotisserie stores nationwide.

 

In 2009 the Bounty Fresh Group won the 2009 Asian Livestock Industry Award held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Asias premier and most prestigious award for outstanding achievements in the livestock industry, besting other more established countries in the industry such as India, Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia, to become the best among the best poultry and livestock producers in the region. Today, Bounty Fresh is Asia's Best.
